Shipping Office

The Shipping Office is pretty much exactly what the name says. We are over at No.30 Kannabiran Koil Street in Chennai. It’s a busy part of the city, and the street can get quite crowded with people going to the temple or just going about their day. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and people in the 600118 area know where to find us. The office is simple. We have our ledgers, a few computers, and a lot of pens that always seem to go missing. We handle various shipping tasks, mostly just coordinating moves and making sure things are documented properly. It gets humid here, so we keep the windows open when there’s a breeze. We aren't fancy people. We wear comfortable clothes and talk to the drivers who stop by. Sometimes there’s a lot of shouting when things get busy, but it’s all in good spirits. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just sit at our desks and get the shipping work done. It’s practical, it’s local, and it’s how we’ve always done it. If the trucks are on time, we’re happy. If the weather holds up, even better. It’s just life at the Shipping Office on Kannabiran Koil St, where we keep things moving as best as we can.
