Sherif Travel & Tours

Sherif Travel & Tours is situated in Sherif House which is on the Ground Floor at 22 Second Line Beach. This is in the Parrys neighborhood of Chennai 600001. We are right behind the GPO which is a landmark everyone in the city knows. Being on the ground floor is handy because people can just walk right in from the street without having to climb any stairs. The building has been around for a while and it has that old Chennai feel to it. Inside, it is just a normal workspace where we handle tours and travel bookings. We have our computers and some chairs for visitors. Second Line Beach is a busy road with a lot of offices and people rushing to the post office or the courts. It can get quite hectic during the middle of the day with all the traffic. We don't put on any acts here or try to sound like a big international company. We are just local people working in a local building. Behind the GPO is a good spot to be because it’s easy to tell people where to go. The air is often salty because we are close to the coast. We keep things simple and honest. When someone comes in, we just sit down and talk about where they want to go and what the prices look like. It’s a quiet routine but we like it that way.
