If you are looking for us, we are right across from the Ambika Empire Hotel in Choolaimedu. The address is 136/60 on Periya Pathai. It’s a lively area, and there is always something going on outside our doors. Inside the shop, things are a bit more quiet. We have all kinds of furniture sitting around, from wooden tables to soft sofas. It gets a bit crowded when a new shipment arrives. We have to squeeze everything in so people can still walk through the aisles. Sometimes the floor gets a little scuffed from moving the heavy pieces, but we try to keep it looking decent. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is in the right place. Most people find us because they saw the hotel across the street first. The weather in Chennai can be tough on wood, so we have to be careful about where we store things. We spend a lot of our time checking the inventory and making sure nothing is getting damaged. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. We see a lot of different faces every day. Some people just want to look around, and that is fine with us.
