Our place is at number 17 on Luz Avenue in Mylapore. It’s a really traditional part of the city and the street we are on has a lot of character. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now. The building is an older one but it serves us well. We work in industry stuff which might seem a bit out of place in such a residential-feeling avenue but we fit right in. Most of the day is spent handling the business side of our operations. We have a few rooms filled with desks and cupboards full of old records. It’s a quiet environment for the most part except when the phones start ringing all at once. Mylapore has a certain pace to it that we really like. You can hear the temple bells sometimes if the wind is right. We usually take our lunch breaks at one of the small places nearby. The staff here is like a little family. We’ve seen people come and go but the core group stays the same. We don’t really do marketing or anything like that. We just focus on the industrial work we’ve always done. It’s about being consistent and showing up every morning to do the job. We like the history of the neighborhood and being part of the daily life on Luz Avenue. It’s a good place to work.
