Shanti Trading

Shanti Trading is situated at No 29 on Ramanan Road, which is in the Sowcarpet area. We are quite close to the Elephant Gate Police Station, so that’s how most people find us if they get lost in the narrow streets. Sowcarpet is a very busy place, and Ramanan Road is no exception. There are always carts and bikes moving past our front door. We deal with a lot of different items here, and the trading business keeps us on our toes from morning until night. The shop is packed with goods, and we often have to stack things high just to make everything fit. It isn't a polished showroom with soft music. It’s more of a working warehouse and shop where things are constantly being moved around. We’ve been at this address for a long time, so we are used to the noise and the pace of the neighborhood. Most days are spent checking orders or talking to people about prices and availability. We don't use any fancy marketing talk. We just tell people what we have and what it costs. It’s an honest way to do business. Working near the police station gives the area a bit of a landmark. We like the hustle of Sowcarpet. It’s a tough place to work sometimes because of the crowds, but it’s where we belong.
