Shakthi Globistics

We are based over at No 2, J N Road, right in the Ekkaduthangal area. The office is on 1St Bunglow Street, which can be a bit of a squeeze when the delivery trucks are trying to turn the corner. Shakthi Globistics is the name on our front door, though most of the locals just know us as the place with all the boxes. It is pretty much what you would expect from a small logistics spot. We have got some old desks, a couple of noisy fans that struggle with the Chennai heat, and stacks of paperwork that never seem to go away. It is not a fancy corporate setup or anything like that. We just focus on getting things moved from one place to another without too much fuss. Most days start early before the sun gets too high, checking through the manifests and making sure the loaders know what they are doing. The street outside is usually a mess of bikes and people heading to work, so it gets quite loud during the middle of the day. We have been here for a good while now, so we have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. It is just a regular job for us, really. We spend most of our time on the phone or tracking where things have ended up. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. There is always something needing to be shipped.
