We’ve been running Semmugam International Private Limited out of our place in Golden Colony, Chennai, for some time now. It’s a busy area and being at 1408 makes it easy for folks to find us when they need to talk about trade stuff. Moving goods around the world sounds fancy, but mostly it’s just a lot of sitting at desks, making sure the papers are right, and talking to people on the phone. We deal with the usual international business things, trying to make sure nothing gets stuck at the port or in a warehouse somewhere. Chennai is a big hub for this kind of work, so there’s always something happening. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where the work gets done. We handle the daily tasks that come with being an international company without making too much noise about it. Sometimes the traffic outside in 600037 is a nightmare, but we’re used to that by now. Most days are just spent checking emails and coordinating with suppliers. It’s straightforward work that requires a bit of patience. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just focus on the logistics and the practical side of moving things from one place to another. It’s a job that keeps us busy from morning till evening, and we've got a small team here that knows how things work. That's pretty much who we are and what we do here in our corner of the city.
