Selvam S Eye Clinic

Selvam S Eye Clinic is tucked away in the Chanderalaya Apartments. Specifically, we are at F-1, New 30, on Judge Jumbulingam Street. It is a bit off Dr R K Salai, so it’s a quieter part of Mylapore. Some people find it a little tricky to find the first time, but once you’re here, it’s easy. We run this clinic out of the apartment building. It’s a small space, very local and casual. We aren't a big flashy hospital with hundreds of staff. It’s just a place where we do eye exams and talk to people about their vision. Mylapore has changed a lot, but we’ve stayed in this spot. We see a lot of people who live in the nearby streets. It’s mostly just routine stuff, like checking prescriptions or looking at itchy eyes. The room is basic, just the tools we need and some chairs. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because that's not why people come here. They come because they need their eyes looked at by someone nearby. Usually, things are pretty calm here. We just take one person at a time and do our work. It’s a humble setup in a nice part of town. If you’re walking down Judge Jumbulingam Street, that’s where you’ll find us.
