At Seamart Seafoods Private Limited, we work out of our place on Vaniyampadi Main Road. You can find us at 86/11, which is right across from Sivaraj Lodge in Thirupattur. Being in the seafood business means our hours are a bit different than most. We are often up early or staying late to handle the catch and the orders coming in. The office is simple and practical because we spend more time worrying about the quality of the product than how the furniture looks. It’s a local operation, and many of us grew up around here. We handle the export and supply of seafood, which involves a lot of cooling equipment and fast transport. It’s a tough business because things have to move quickly before they spoil. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just try to make sure the fish and other items get to where they need to go in good condition. The road outside can get pretty busy with buses, but it’s a good spot for us. We have built up a decent network over the years just by being honest about what we can do. It’s not a clean-desk type of job, but it’s rewarding in its own way. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily tasks of the seafood trade, and that's enough for us.
