Sea Records

You can find us at 1 Ramachandra Iyer Street in T. Nagar. It's a busy part of the city. We have been running Sea Records from this spot for some time now. The street gets quite loud with all the buses and cars passing by nearby. Inside, it's mostly just a few of us handling the day-to-day things. The walls are a bit plain and we have a lot of files stored in the back corner. Sometimes the rain makes the street outside a real mess, but we keep the shop open anyway. Most of the people who come here are locals from around the neighborhood. T. Nagar is always full of shoppers, especially on weekends. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the desk gets cluttered with notes and receipts. It’s just how it is when you’re busy. We don’t have a fancy website or anything like that. Just this place on the street. We get here early in the morning and stay until it’s dark. The fan makes a bit of noise but it keeps us cool enough during the humid afternoons. If you’re walking down Ramachandra Iyer Street, you’ll see our sign. It isn't very big. We spend most of our time answering phones or checking the inventory. It’s a simple way to live and work. The tea seller around the corner is a friend. He brings us coffee when we can't leave the desk to go out for a break.
