Sea Borne Exim

You’ll find us at 46/82 on Basha Street in Choolaimedu. It’s a narrow street and it can be a bit tricky to find parking if you’re driving. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite a while. The building is older, so the pipes sometimes make noise, but it’s sturdy. We handle a lot of import and export stuff, so there is always a lot of movement. Boxes come in and boxes go out. We have a small crew here. Everyone does a bit of everything. One minute you’re on the computer and the next you’re moving a heavy pallet. We don't wear suits or anything like that. It’s mostly just jeans and old shirts because the work is a bit dirty. The walls are covered in calendars and maps. We try to keep a schedule, but things often change at the last minute because of the ships or the weather. We have a small tea kettle in the corner that we use all the time. It’s a modest way to run a business. We don't have any big slogans. We just focus on the logistics and hope the containers arrive on time. Choolaimedu is a busy place and we fit right in with the rest of the hustle. It’s just us doing our part every day at Sea Borne Exim.
