Schneider Klectric

We are located at No7 S.I.P. Colony Extension in Nanganallur. It is a nice part of Chennai, not too far from the main temple area. The name on our board says Schneider Klectric, and that is how we have always had it since we opened. Our shop is not very big, but it fits everything we need to get through the workday. Usually, the mornings are spent checking the inventory and seeing what arrived on the morning truck. Chennai humidity can be really tough, so we keep the windows wide open to catch a breeze. We have many regular customers from the colony who drop in for parts or just to ask a quick question. Sometimes we sit on the plastic chairs outside and talk to the neighbors while waiting for a shipment to arrive. It is a very practical setup. We handle a lot of different electrical items throughout the week. My brother helps me with the heavy lifting when we get a large order in. We do not do any advertising at all. People just find us by word of mouth or by walking down the street on their way to the market. The floor gets a little dusty because of all the construction happening nearby, but we sweep it every evening before locking up. We keep a notebook for all our manual entries because the computer acts up whenever it gets too hot. It is a simple life running a business in Nanganallur.
