We are located out here in Oman, working with E. John Peter. It’s a very different environment than what some of our friends back home might be used to, but it works well for us. Our daily routine is pretty steady and predictable. We get up, head to the office, and see what the day brings our way. There’s no big corporate hierarchy here that gets in the way of getting things done. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because it keeps the communication simple and honest. We don't spend our time writing out big mission statements or long-term visions. We just focus on the tasks we have right in front of us each morning. The weather here is usually very hot, so we spend most of our time indoors where it's a bit cooler. We handle various bits of business that come our way, and we’ve built up a decent rhythm over the years. It’s just honest, hard work. We might not have the biggest name in the industry, but the people we work with know they can just give us a call and we’ll answer. Sometimes we sit around during lunch and talk about how much the landscape has changed in Oman, but mostly we just stick to our files and emails. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy furniture or big speeches. We just show up every day and do what needs to be done.
