We are located in the heart of Chennai 600001, which is a place that never really sleeps. Sastha Tours And Travels is a small operation that we started because we liked the idea of helping people see different parts of the country. We don't have a big staff or a fancy corporate setup. It is mostly just us and a couple of computers in a small room. We spend a lot of time talking to people about temple tours or weekend trips to the hills. A lot of our customers are families who have been coming to us for years. We don't really bother with big ads or social media. Most of our business comes from people just walking in or calling because their neighbor told them we were okay. The office gets a bit dusty because of the main road nearby, but we don't mind it much. We have a lot of old photos of places we've sent people to pinned up on a corkboard. Sometimes the phone rings at odd hours and we have to handle things from home. It is just the way a small travel business works in this city. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the bookings are right and the drivers know where they are going. It’s a lot of small details and keeping track of dates and names, but we are used to the rhythm of it by now.
