Sastha Homemart

Sastha Homemart is a small shop located at No-19 on the 2nd Street of T.N.G.O. Colony in Nanganallur, Chennai 61. It’s a residential area mostly, so we see a lot of the same neighbors every day. We’ve been here for a while now. The shop isn't huge, but it fits everything we need to keep things going. Chennai summers are tough, but the shop stays busy enough to keep our minds off the heat. We don't have a big staff or anything like that. It’s just us handling the shelves and the customers who walk in from the colony. Living and working in Nanganallur has its own pace. It’s a bit quieter than the main city parts, which we like. We don't go for any flashy displays. We just put the items out and people buy what they need. Most of our regulars live just a few streets away. It’s a simple way to run a business. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening. There’s always something to organize or a box to move. We don't try to compete with the big malls. We just stay here at No-19 and do our work. It’s a steady life in the colony. Sastha Homemart is just a part of the local street now. I think people appreciate that they can just walk over and get what they need without a fuss. We keep it simple.
