Sankeshwar Agencies

Our place, Sankeshwar Agencies, is on the second floor of 32 Old 38 on Thacker Street. It’s in Purasaiwalkam, which is always crowded and noisy. We are right near the Roxy Theatre, so that’s the best way to explain where we are to anyone visiting. You have to climb some stairs to get up to us because we are on the II floor. The building is quite old and has that specific smell of old concrete and paper. We’ve got a lot of stock piled up in the office. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when we get a big delivery. We spend most of our time on the phone or writing out orders. It’s a lot of paperwork, to be honest. Thacker Street is one of those places where you always see familiar faces. We know the other shop owners around here pretty well. We’ve been in this same spot for years and haven't really thought about moving. The fans in the ceiling make a bit of a clicking noise, but we’re used to it. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just do our business and try to stay organized. It gets really hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the windows open. You can hear the sounds of the street all day. It’s just how things are here at the agency. We usually wrap things up by six unless something urgent comes in.
