Sankereswari Clinic

Sankereswari Clinic is at No. 9/4 on I.A.F. Road in Bharathiyar Nagar, Pattabiram. It’s a small place, really more of a neighborhood clinic than anything else. We mostly serve the people living right here in Bharathiyar Nagar. I.A.F. Road is usually busy with people going to work, and we see a lot of them stop in on their way home. The clinic isn't very big, just enough room for a small waiting area and the doctor’s desk. We keep it simple. There aren't any flashy signs or big TV screens in the waiting room. We just have a few benches and a fan that clicks a bit when it's on high. The staff is just two or three of us. We know most of our patients' families and we’ve seen their kids grow up. It’s the kind of place where people come for a cough or a minor scrape. We don't try to be anything we’re not. It’s just a local clinic providing basic help to the neighborhood. Pattabiram is a quiet enough place most of the time. We open early in the morning and stay until the last patient is seen. It’s a routine we’ve had for years. The walls have a few posters about health, and the floor is a bit worn from all the feet walking over it. It’s a comfortable, normal place for local folks who need a bit of medical help.
