If you’ve ever been to West Mambalam, you know the streets can be narrow and it’s always crowded with people shopping or going to the temples. Finding parking is almost impossible, so most of us just take the bus or a scooter. Our office is in a regular building, nothing that stands out from the rest of the street. Inside, it’s just us working on various data and consulting tasks. We have a few computers and some stacks of paper that we really should organize better one of these days. It’s a bit cramped, but we make it work. The noise from the street stays with us all day, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't have a big HR department or a fancy coffee machine. We just use a regular kettle and bring our own snacks. It’s a very local feel here. Everyone knows the neighbors and the shopkeepers downstairs. We’ve been operating out of this Kuppiah Street spot for a bit, and while it's not a glass-and-steel skyscraper, it serves its purpose for what we do. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to get their jobs done before the evening rush starts on the main roads in Chennai.
