If you are looking for Salma International, you have to find your way to West Mambalam in Chennai. We are located in the Sri Raghavendra Flats on Patel Street. It is a residential kind of area, and we are in Flat A4, which belongs to Uma Devi. It is not like those huge glass buildings you see in the city center. It is just a quiet office in a regular apartment block. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with scooters and people walking to the local shops. We handle international work from here, mostly sitting at our desks and staying on the phone or computer. The fan stays on all day because of the Chennai heat. It is a simple setup we have going. We know the neighbors and the local tea stall guy quite well. Working out of a flat makes it feel a bit more like home, I suppose. We do not have any fancy lobby or a bunch of receptionists. You just walk up to No. 9 and find us. It has been our spot for a bit, and we like the vibe of West Mambalam. It is busy but in a good, local way. We just do our business and try to get home before the evening traffic gets too bad. That is pretty much the whole story of our daily life here at the office.
