Sairetrofabs - Chennai

You can find Sairetrofabs right in Adyar, over on Dhanalakshmi Avenue in Kasthuribai Nagar. It’s a nice enough area of Chennai, though finding parking on our street can be a real headache some days. We are at number 41/2. It’s a pretty simple setup we’ve got here. We aren't the type to have a big glass front or a security guard at a desk. It’s more of a walk-in-and-say-hello kind of place. We’ve been working out of this spot for a while, and the rooms are full of equipment and bits of metal. It’s a bit messy, to be honest, but that’s how we work best. The air conditioning struggles a bit in the peak of May, but we keep the fans going. We don’t really do fancy brochures or sales pitches. People usually hear about us through someone else and just show up. We sit around the old wooden table and figure things out. Most of the staff has lived in Chennai their whole lives, so we know the local way of doing things. It’s noisy, a bit crowded, and always busy, but we like it that way. If you’re in the Adyar neighborhood, you can just drop by. We’re usually there until late most evenings anyway. Just watch out for the scooters parked out front. It's a working shop, not a showroom, so don't expect anything too fancy.
