It’s a working building where the floors have some scuffs and the walls are covered with notices. We spend a lot of time looking at regulations and making sure the batches are right. The heat in Adyar can be tough, but the fans keep the air moving enough. We aren't big on speeches or fancy presentations. Most of the staff has been together for a long time, so we just know who does what. Lunchtime is usually a mix of different tiffins being opened in the break area. We deal with a lot of suppliers and distributors every single day. It can be a lot of back-and-forth emails and phone calls that never seem to end.
