We’ve been running things from this first-floor spot on MKN Road for a while now. Guindy is always busy, and being right here helps us keep up with all the requests coming in. Mostly, we deal with energy setups and solar stuff because that is what folks seem to need lately. It’s not always easy work, especially when the sun is beating down on the roofs where we spend half our time. We started out small, just a couple of us figuring out how to make these systems work better for local homes and shops. You can find us at No. 60, just above the street noise. The office isn't fancy, just a lot of paperwork and some parts lying around. People stop by to ask about their electricity bills and if putting panels up will actually help. We tell them the truth, even if it’s not what they want to hear. Sometimes the roof isn't right or the shade from a neighbor's tree is in the way. We just handle the installs and make sure the wiring is solid so nothing shorts out later. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we opened, but the goal stays the same. Just getting through the list of jobs and making sure the batteries are charged.
