Sai Baba Furniture

Sai Baba Furniture is located at No 67 on Memorial Hall Street. We are directly opposite the Government Hospital in Park Town. It’s a very busy part of the city, and there’s always an ambulance or a bus going by. Our shop is quite packed with sofas, beds, and some steel almirahs. We don't have much room to move around once the new stock arrives. My uncle and I run the place. We start early in the morning, around 9 or 10, and stay until late evening. The lighting in the back of the shop isn't the best, so we usually bring things to the front near the door so people can see the color properly. We don't have any professional movers, so we usually hire a local cart or a small van when someone buys something heavy. Sometimes the prices of wood go up and we have to adjust, which is a bit of a headache. We try to be fair with everyone who walks through the door. We've had some of the same customers for twenty years now. They remember me when I was just a kid helping out. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. We don't use any fancy sales talk. If you like a chair, you sit in it and see if it's comfortable. That's all there is to it.
