Elephant Gate is a really crowded place to work every day. Our spot is at 18/19 on the ground floor. Being on the ground floor makes it much easier to load things since we do not have to deal with any stairs or slow elevators. Anirudh Sales Corporation has been here for a good while now. Most of our mornings start with moving boxes around to make space. The street outside gets loud pretty early with all the carts and people moving about the market. We handle sales of various items, mostly things people need for their shops or homes. We do not have a fancy showroom with air conditioning or bright lights. It is just a regular ground floor space filled with stock and paperwork. Sometimes it is a bit of a tight squeeze when a big shipment comes in. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who walk in off the street. Elephant Gate has a specific kind of energy that you get used to after a few months. You learn where to get the best tea nearby and which times of day the traffic is the absolute worst. We are not trying to be the biggest company in India. We just want to keep the shelves full and the orders going out on time. If a customer needs something specific, we look through our stacks. It is just honest work.
