S & S Eye Clinic

Our clinic is at 475 T H Road, and we’ve been at this same spot for years now. S & S Eye Clinic is mostly about helping people see a bit better. T H Road is always a bit of a nightmare with the traffic, so we tell everyone to give themselves extra time to get here. The clinic itself is pretty straightforward. We have the usual eye charts on the walls and the machines for testing vision. Some of the equipment is newer and some of it has been with us since we opened. The place isn't very big, so if more than five people are waiting, it starts to feel a bit cramped. We don’t have a big corporate office or a PR team writing fancy stuff for us. It’s just a small group of us working here every day. We drink a lot of tea in the back room when things get quiet. Sometimes the phone rings and we can't get to it because we're busy with a patient, which I know can be annoying for people. The walls could probably use some new paint, but we're usually too busy to deal with that. We see all sorts of folks, from kids who need their first pair of glasses to older people who’ve been coming to us for decades. It’s a steady kind of life here on T H Road. We just do our jobs and try to keep things simple and honest for everyone.
