S. S. Exports

Our office is on Hindiprachar Saba Street in T. Nagar, which is always a very busy place to be. We are at New No. 57, which used to be Old No. 24, and that still confuses the delivery drivers sometimes even though the change happened years ago. S. S. Exports has been in this spot for a long time. T. Nagar is the heart of shopping and business, so there is never a quiet moment outside. You can hear the horns honking and people shouting all day long. Inside, we just try to focus on the export documents. The office is a bit cramped because we have so many files and samples sitting around on every available surface. We have an old wooden desk that has been here since the start. It is a bit worn out, but it works fine for what we do. We mostly deal with textiles and other goods that need to go overseas. The heat in Chennai can be really something, so we have a couple of old air conditioners that hum quite loudly while we work. It is a very normal, everyday kind of place. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. We just make sure the labels are right and the containers are booked on time. Most of our day is spent talking to the people at the port or the various agencies we have to deal with to get things moving.
