S. M. Exports

S. M. Exports is over in Periamet, at 60 Perianna Maistry Street. Some of the old records still say Old 48, so it can be a bit confusing for people trying to find us the first time. Periamet is a very old and very busy part of the city. There’s a lot of history in these streets, and the buildings are all packed together. Our place is right in the middle of all that action. It’s a narrow street, so it’s always a struggle when we have to load up the goods. We’ve been here for a long time, and the office reflects that. The floors are a bit uneven and the windows are small. It’s usually quite loud outside with all the trade going on in the neighborhood. We spend our days mostly on the phone or dealing with the people who drop by. It’s a very hands-on business. We don't have a website or a fancy logo. Most of our work comes from people we’ve known for years. We just keep our records in big bound books and try to stay on top of the shipping schedules. Sometimes we have to move stuff around just to find a place to sit. It’s a bit of a squeeze, but it’s how we’ve always done it. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and making sure the orders are filled correctly. It’s just a regular Periamet business.
