Our office is at No 4 Trivelian Basin in the Sowcarpet area. It’s near the Elephant Gate Police Station, which is a very clear landmark for anyone visiting. This part of Chennai 600001 has its own special feel. It’s busy but in a different way than the main roads. We have been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change a bit, but mostly it stays the same. Our office is a functional space. We don’t have any interior designers or expensive art on the walls. It’s just a place where we sit and work. We have our cupboards for all the files and enough space for everyone to do their job. Usually, the day starts with a bit of cleaning and then we get right into the work. We deal with a lot of details, so we have to stay focused. It’s a quiet kind of work most of the time. We don't go in for big speeches or anything like that. We just want to do a decent job and head home. The heat can be a bit much sometimes, but we have our fans going. People from the nearby shops often stop by to say hello. It’s that kind of place. We like the stability of being here. It’s a straightforward life and a straightforward business. We just take it one day at a time.
