Our Adyar shop has a bit of a confusing address because it has an old number, 28-A, and a new one, 49. We are located on the 1st Main Road, right across from the Adyar Bakery which everyone knows. It’s a great spot because the smell of fresh bread often drifts over to our place in the mornings. This building has some character to it, being one of the older ones on the street, and we’ve done our best to make it work for our needs. We carry a wide variety of goods and the shelves go almost all the way to the ceiling in some parts. Sometimes you might need a ladder to see what’s on the top row, but we are always around to help with that. Adyar is a nice area to work in because the people are generally friendly and things move at a decent pace. We don't have a corporate office feel here at all; it’s more like a local store where you can just walk in and find what you need. We keep a ledger for most things and try to stay organized, even if the desk looks a bit cluttered with papers sometimes. It’s just how we operate, and it seems to have worked out for us so far. We are just a local crew doing our thing on 1st Main Road.
