Royal Tape House

Royal Tape House is located on Govindappa Naicken Street. We are on the ground floor of the Alankar Building, specifically at 123 Old No. 59 /2. This area is always moving, and there are people everywhere outside. Inside, it’s mostly just rows and rows of tape. We have big rolls, small rolls, and everything in between. It smells like adhesive in here, which you get used to after about ten minutes. The Alankar Building is an old place, so it has some character, and the ground floor spot makes it easy for us to move heavy boxes in and out without dealing with stairs. We don't really do much decorating. The walls are mostly covered by shelves. People come in looking for something to seal up their own boxes, and we just show them what we have. It’s a straightforward kind of business. We don't use fancy computers for everything; sometimes a notebook is just faster for keeping track of what’s going out. The street outside is narrow, so deliveries can be a bit of a headache with the traffic, but we manage. We’ve been in this spot for a good while, and the routine hasn't changed much over the years. It’s just a place where we sell tape and talk to the regulars who stop by to pick up their usual supplies.
