If you are looking for us, we are right here on Sollaippan Street in Washermanpet. Our place is called Leelavathy Illam, and you have to come up to the first floor. It is an old building, but it works for us. Most people around here know the Agastya Apartments, so that makes it easier to find the way. Washermanpet is always busy, especially with all the shops and people moving around. We have been in this spot for a while now. It gets a bit loud outside with the traffic and the local vendors, but inside we just get on with our work. It is not a fancy office with big glass windows or anything like that. We have some desks, chairs, and lots of paperwork. Sometimes the tea man comes by, and that is usually the highlight of the afternoon. We mostly deal with folks from the neighborhood who just walk in because they saw our sign. We do not do much advertising because the local word of mouth usually keeps us busy enough. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you are carrying bags. We try to keep things simple here. There is no big receptionist or waiting lounge, just a few chairs for whoever comes in. We like being in this part of Chennai because it feels real and everyone knows everyone else. If you ever find yourself near the apartments, you will probably see our building.
