Roshini Traders

Roshini Traders is located right over by the M M D A Bus Stop on the Inner Ring Road. Being on Jawaharlal Nehru Road in Arumbakkam means there is always a lot of traffic passing by our front door. We have been here at number 23 for quite some time now. It’s a busy little spot, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to get home. Inside the shop, things are usually a bit cluttered because we have so much stock coming in and out every week. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is kept. Mostly, we deal with local folks and other traders nearby who need specific items. The heat can get pretty bad in the afternoons, so we usually have a fan going near the front. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here, just buying and selling what people need. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time parking because the road is so packed with cars. We’ve had the same neighbors for years and it feels like a small community even with all the noise. I usually handle the front while a couple of others help with the heavy lifting in the back. It’s a decent living. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations. People mostly know us from word of mouth or just because they saw the sign while waiting for the bus. It’s just how things work in this part of Arumbakkam.
