ROIC Business Consulting LLP is located at No.57 Burkit Road. If you know T. Nagar, you know Burkit Road gets a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. Our office is right there in the middle of it all. It’s a ground floor space, which makes it easy to get in and out. The interior is quite plain—just white walls, some wooden desks, and a few chairs for when people come by. We don’t really do much in the way of branding or fancy signs. Most of our work is done on laptops, so the office stays relatively quiet except for the hum of the fans. We’ve got a small pantry area in the back where we keep the kettle and some biscuits. The staff here are mostly locals who have been with the firm for a few years. We handle consulting work, which basically means a lot of reading and writing reports. On rainy days, the water tends to pool a bit near the gate, so we have to watch our step. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed; we don't wear suits unless there’s a really big meeting. Most days it’s just shirts and trousers. We like being on Burkit Road because it feels connected to the rest of Chennai. You can hear the temple bells in the distance sometimes. It’s a practical office where we just show up and do the work that needs to be done. We try to leave around 6 PM to beat the worst of the evening traffic.
