R.K. Polymer

We’ve been at No 196/5 on Govindappanaicken Street for a good while now. It’s a busy part of the city, and our place at R.K. Polymer fits right in with the noise and the constant movement outside. Dealing with polymers isn't always the cleanest job, but it's what we do day in and day out. Most mornings start with checking the stock and seeing what needs to go out to customers. The street gets crowded pretty early, so we try to get the heavy lifting done before the traffic really kicks in. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we handle the material and talk to the people who drop by. Some days the phones don't stop ringing, and other times we’re just catching up on paperwork in the back. Working with polymers means knowing your materials, and we’ve picked up a lot over the years just by handling it ourselves. It's a straightforward business. We show up, do the work, and make sure things are moving. There isn't much room for corporate talk here. We just focus on the orders we have on hand. It’s hot in the summer and the monsoon makes the street a bit of a mess, but we stay busy. Being located in such a central spot helps us stay connected to everything else happening in the market nearby. We just take things as they come, really.
