You can find us at Plot No. 4, Door No. 220, right on Mount Poonamallee Road in Kattupakkam. This is a very busy part of Chennai, and there is always a lot of noise from the traffic outside. We work with power transmission products at Ringfeder. This means we handle heavy metal parts like couplings and locking assemblies. Our place is more of a warehouse than a fancy office. It has high ceilings and rows of heavy shelving to hold all the steel stock. The Chennai heat can be pretty intense, so the warehouse can get quite warm during the middle of the day. We have a small office section where we handle the billing and talk to people on the phone. It is a simple setup with a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We have been at this Kattupakkam location for many years now. Most of our day is spent moving heavy items around and making sure the right parts go to the right places. It is physically demanding work and we often end the day quite tired. We don't have any big mission statements or promotional posters on the walls. Instead, we have technical diagrams and stock lists. It is a practical, honest business where we just focus on the hardware. We know our products well and we just get on with the job. It is a solid place to work and we have a good routine going.
