Being based in Adambakkam, we are right in the thick of things here in Chennai. Rex Rotary India Pvt Ltd has been at this location for some time, and the neighborhood has changed a lot since we first arrived. The streets are always crowded with people heading to work or the market, and the noise from the traffic is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. Inside our office, it’s a bit more relaxed. We don't go in for anything too flashy. It is just a bunch of desks, some old filing cabinets, and the equipment we use every day. We spend a lot of our time coordinating things and making sure everything is moving along as it should. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, which is just part of living and working in a big city like this. We handle those things as they come without much fuss. Most of the staff here have been with us for a long while, so we all know each other’s habits and how we like our tea. We aren't a high-pressure office. We just show up, do what needs to be done for our projects, and head home to our families. It’s a straightforward way to run things, and it works for us. We like the local feel of this part of Tamil Nadu. It feels like home to us, even on the days when the humidity is almost too much to handle.
