Revathy Royer & Joiner

We are over at No. 52/21 on Andavar Street in Choolaimedu. It is quite easy to find us if you know where the Choolaimedu Telephone Exchange is located. We are just around there in Avvai Nagar. Revathy Royer & Joiner started out because we just liked working with wood and fixing things up for people in the neighborhood. Our shop isn't anything fancy, just a place with lots of tools and sawdust everywhere. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when we are cutting timber, but the neighbors are used to it by now. We spend most of our mornings drinking tea from the stall nearby and then getting to work on whatever chairs or frames people brought in. It’s a busy part of Chennai, so there’s always something happening outside on the street. We’ve been here for a good while, and most folks around Choolaimedu know where to find us if their doors are sticking or if they need a new cupboard made. We don't have a big office with air conditioning, just the workbench and our hands. It’s honest work, and we like being part of this little corner of the city. If you’re walking past the exchange, you might hear us hammering away. Stop by and say hello if you’re in the area. We usually have someone at the shop from morning until the sun goes down, unless we are out at a site nearby.
