Retired

We’ve been sitting here on 6th Street in Anna Nagar for a while now. It’s a busy part of H-Block, right near 11th Main Road. Most folks around here just call the place Retired because that’s the name we have on everything. We don't do much fancy stuff. We are just keeping things going at 1586/9. Chennai gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually keep the doors a bit closed during the peak sun. If you’re walking down 11th Main, you probably seen the building before. It’s just a standard spot, nothing that stands out too much if you aren't looking for it. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New shops come and go, but we’re still here at this same address. Sometimes the traffic on the main road gets a bit loud, especially during the morning rush. We don't really have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure everything is handled right. It’s a quiet life mostly. We aren't trying to be the biggest thing in Chennai. Just a local spot in Anna Nagar. People sometimes ask why we chose the name Retired, but it just kind of stuck. We have our routines and we stick to them. If you ever find yourself near 1586/9 in H-Block, you'll see us. We’re just regular people doing our thing day after day. No big speeches, just staying busy enough.
