Our place is at 3/570 B, on Govindan Nagar II Main Road in Palavakkam. It’s tucked away in a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than being on the main highway. We do printing and reprographics work, which basically means we spend our day around big printers and scanners. The smell of ink is pretty much part of the furniture now. We’ve got a few machines that have been with us for a long time, and we know exactly how to fix them when they start making a weird noise. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a fancy front desk or a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and helps out. Some days we have huge piles of paper everywhere and it looks like a mess, but we know where everything is. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try not to be too loud when we’re loading the van. It’s a steady pace of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest print shop in Chennai, just a regular one for the folks who need us. We’ve had some customers coming to us for years, and we know them by name. It’s just a simple business on a quiet street where we do our best to get the prints right and keep the machines running smoothly. We’ve been here a long time and we like it that way.
