Our place is at No. 15/55 Chinnathambi Street. It’s one of those narrow streets where everyone knows everyone. We deal with paper. If you walk inside, you’ll smell the ink and the dry paper right away. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the reams stacked up. We’ve been at this address for quite some time. Rasi Papers isn't a big corporation. It is just a handful of us working here. The walls are a bit faded, and the desks are old, but they work just fine for what we do. We spend a lot of time cutting and packing paper for customers. Sometimes the stacks get so high you can't see the person on the other side of the room. It’s not a polished environment. We have some old machines that make a lot of noise, but they are reliable. We don’t really have any big goals written on the wall. We just come in, do the work, and go home. On rainy days, we have to be really careful to keep everything dry because paper doesn't like the damp. Chinnathambi Street can get very congested, so we usually try to get our deliveries out early in the morning before the traffic gets too bad. It is a humble setup, but it’s been our home for years. We just focus on the task at hand and try to keep our regular customers happy. It’s a steady way to earn a living and we appreciate the neighbors.
