Rani Travels

We have our office at No 17/9 on the 2nd Floor of a building on Nainiappan Street. This is in the Mannady area of Chennai 600001. A good way to find us is to look for the Broadway Theatre because we are quite near there. Being on the second floor means we get a little bit of a break from the noise on the street level, but not much. You still hear the movies playing sometimes or the crowd leaving after a show. The stairs are a bit narrow so you have to watch your step when you come up to see us. Rani Travels is just a local spot where we handle travel arrangements for whoever needs them. We have a few desks and a place for people to sit while we look things up on the computer. It’s a very lived-in space with calendars on the walls and stacks of forms. We don't use any of those fancy slogans or big marketing words. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors because usually they are. Mannady is a busy place and Nainiappan Street is no different. There are always people moving about and shops opening early. We get here in the morning and stay until the work is done. It’s a straightforward way to run a business and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. Sometimes we share snacks with the other people in the building.
