Ranga Trading Company

You can find Ranga Trading Company right in the middle of Sowcarpet on Audiappa Naicken Street. We are at Old No 37, though the sign says New No 75 now. Being near the Mahasakthi International Hotel makes it easier for people to find us in these crowded lanes. It gets very busy here, especially during the middle of the day when everyone is moving goods around. Our place is basically a hub for the items we trade. We’ve been at this location for many years, seeing the street change while we stayed the same. The building is old and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it holds everything we need. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers and checking the stock that comes in every morning. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It's just a regular trading office where we keep track of orders and talk to customers who walk in. Dealing with the traffic in Sowcarpet is just part of the job. We keep the doors open and usually have some tea going for anyone who stops by. It is a humble setup, but it works for what we do. We don't bother with big speeches or marketing plans. Buying and selling what’s needed and trying to keep things moving is the main thing. It's a lot of manual work and paperwork, but that's how a trading business goes in this part of town and we like it. It's home.
