We are located over at Sethu House on Dr. Alagappa Road. The number is 28. It’s in the Purasawalkkam area, which is always bustling with activity. Our building is an older one, but it holds up well enough for what we need. We work with leather here. If you walk inside, the first thing you’ll notice is the smell of the hides. It’s a strong scent, but we don’t even notice it anymore after being here so long. We spend our hours sorting through materials and checking the quality of what comes in. It’s hands-on work. There are stacks of leather in various corners, and the light coming through the windows isn't always the best. We’ve got a small staff. Most of the guys have been here for a decade or more. We know the trade pretty well. It’s not a shiny office environment. It’s a place where work gets done. Sometimes we have a lot of crates moving in and out, which makes the hallway a bit cramped. The neighborhood is full of shops and people, so there’s never a quiet moment outside. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just rely on the work we do every day. If you need to find us, just look for Sethu House. We’re usually there from morning until late evening, just keeping the operations running as they always have. We keep some spare chairs in the back if anyone needs to sit.
