Prawin Industries

Ramapuram is where we stay busy. Prawin Industries has been here at No. 4/5 Sri Karpagambal Nagar for a while now. It's tucked away near La Michael Club on Thiruvalluvar Salai. Most mornings start with the sound of the traffic outside and the humidity setting in. We usually have a few people coming in and out, checking on things. The space isn't huge, but it fits what we do. Sometimes the road gets blocked up during rush hour, which makes getting supplies a bit of a headache. We just deal with it though. Everyone knows the spot because it’s so close to the club. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy with the actual work to worry about that right now. It’s mostly just us doing our thing day in and day out. Sometimes the tea guy stops by and we take a short break under the fan. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when we are running all the equipment. We've got a routine down. It’s not fancy, just a local place where things get done. You find us here most days until late. We try to keep things organized, but on busy weeks, papers and parts start stacking up on the desks. That's just how it goes when you're trying to keep up with everything. It’s a bit loud sometimes with the street noise, but we’re used to it.
