Rajasthan Youth Association Cosmo Foundation Dialysis Centre

We are located right on Konnur High Road in Otteri, which is usually quite a busy spot here in Chennai. The Rajasthan Youth Association Cosmo Foundation Dialysis Centre has been around this part of town for a while now, near the Dhadawadi landmark. Most days start early for us because the dialysis machines need to be ready before the first group of patients arrives. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going to make sure everyone stays as comfortable as they can. The building itself is simple, nothing fancy, just a practical place where the work gets done. People come in from all over the neighborhood, and we’ve gotten to know a lot of the regulars quite well. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, especially with the buses passing by on the high road, but inside we try to keep things steady. We spend a lot of our time checking monitors and making sure the water systems are running like they should. It is a lot of routine work, cleaning up between shifts and keeping the logs updated. We aren't a big hospital, just a foundation centre focused on this one thing. Usually, there is a bit of a rush in the mornings, then things settle down a bit after lunch. It is just the way it goes here in Otteri. We see the same faces every week, and it feels more like a small community than a clinic sometimes.
