Rajarathanam Construction (P) Ltd. is over in Purasawalkam, Chennai. Our office is at No. 1 Veerasawmy Street. If you know Chennai at all, you know this is a busy, old part of town with a lot of character and narrow streets. We’ve been operating from this little corner for years. Construction is a messy business, and our office often reflects that with blueprints and samples of tiles or bricks scattered around. We spend a lot of our time out at the various sites, so the office can be a bit quiet during the middle of the day when everyone is out. We aren't some massive corporation with hundreds of employees in suits. It's mostly just a few of us coordinating with the labor crews and the suppliers. The traffic on Veerasawmy Street can be a nightmare some days, but it’s home to us and we know all the shortcuts. No polished sales pitch from us. We just tell people what we can do and then we go out and try to do it right. There are always challenges, like the sudden rains or getting the right materials delivered on time, but we’ve seen it all before. We just take it one project at a time. It’s steady work, and we like being part of the building process in our city. We aren't looking for any awards; we just want to finish the day knowing we got things done correctly for the project. That’s how we’ve always done things here.
