Rajamani & Co is located at number 34, which is now new number 87, on Arcot Road in Valasaravakkam. If you know this part of Chennai, you know how busy Arcot Road can get. The traffic is almost always moving right outside our door. Our building has been here for quite some time, and we have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. We are a small company and we do a bit of everything in terms of trade and services. The office inside is a bit old-fashioned. We have wooden desks and old filing cabinets that have been with us since we started. It is not a modern startup looking place. It is just a functional office where we do our daily work. We have a few staff members who have been with us for years. We handle a lot of phone calls and paperwork every day. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the buses and cars outside, but we are used to it by now. People from Valasaravakkam stop in when they need something handled. We don't spend money on big ads or marketing people. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for a long time or have been told about us by their friends. We just try to stay honest and do a good job for whoever walks in. It is a simple way to run a business. We usually close up around six in the evening.
