Our office is over at Lacliff Apartments, specifically at No. 11 on the first floor. We’re right by the Shell petrol bunk in Rajakilpakkam, which makes it easy to explain where we are to people. It’s a fairly busy area, and there’s always the smell of fuel and the sound of cars pulling in and out nearby. As a trading company, our day is mostly filled with coordinating between different suppliers and people who need goods. There is a lot of back-and-forth on the phone and plenty of emails to deal with. The office itself is quite plain. We have our desks, some filing cabinets, and a lot of notebooks where we jot things down. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment, just a place where we get our work done. Sometimes the internet is slow, or a delivery gets stuck somewhere, and we have to spend the whole afternoon sorting it out. That’s just the nature of trading. We don't have a huge staff, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to checking the accounts. Rajakilpakkam is a growing area, and being near the petrol bunk means we see a lot of people coming and going. It’s a simple setup, and we just focus on making sure the day-to-day operations go as smoothly as possible without any unnecessary drama. There's always something to be done, whether it's checking a list or talking to a driver.
