Raja Soap Industries

We are located in Korukkupet and you can usually smell the soap before you even see our gate. It is a busy place with a lot of steam and big vats. We have been making these bars for a long time. It is a messy job, mixing the oils and the lye, but we have a good system down now. The floor is always a bit slippery so we have to be careful when we are moving the crates around. We are not a giant factory with robots; it is mostly just local people from Korukkupet doing the cutting and the wrapping by hand. Sometimes the colors do not come out exactly the same every time, but the soap works just the same. We load the trucks right out front and they go all over the city. It gets quite cramped when we have a big order to finish, with boxes stacked up to the ceiling. We do not have a sales team or anything, we just sell to the shops that have known us for years. Some of the machines are old and they make a lot of clattering sounds, but they still do the job. We just keep our heads down and keep the production line moving as best as we can every single day. We like being part of this industrial area. It is noisy and hot, but it is where we belong and we know the work.
