Our place is located in Pattamangalam, which is in the Sivagangai district of Tamilnadu. L. Parthasaarathy is the one who mostly looks after things here day to day. We are on Kulalar Street, at Door No 1-199. It’s a quiet area compared to the big cities like Chennai. We deal with insulation and refractory materials, which is pretty specific and technical work. It’s a lot of heavy stuff and dusty materials moving in and out of the warehouse. Most of the people who come to us are local workers or factory owners needing repairs on their kilns or furnaces. We’ve been here at this post for a long time. It’s not a high-tech facility, just a regular workplace where we store our stock and handle the daily orders. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website to show off. Usually, people just hear about us from someone else in the district who had work done before. We spend our days checking the inventory and making sure the supplies are ready for the next job. The mail comes to the Pattamangalam post office and we handle the paperwork by hand mostly. It’s a simple life out here in Sivagangai. We do the work, keep the books, and make sure the refractories are handled right. There’s no need for big promises or slogans. We just provide what’s needed for the heat-related jobs. It’s been our way of doing things for many years now.
